You know that moment before you go to the hairdresser and you wonder if its going to be awkward conversation and you’d have to read a magazine and pretend to be busy or if it would flow really nicely and time would just fly by? Because who doesn’t love a good goss with the hairdresser? It’s just as good as therapy! Well, the minute I met Sam, I realized this wasn’t to be an issue.
Sam is the hairdresser at Rare Beauty, One Ocean in Port Vell aka @the_hairstylist_of_barcelona . Perfect location for those end of season dinner blowouts. My hair was an absolute knotty mess, which I - to be honest, couldn’t face untangling myself so I scheduled an appointment with Sam so she could help me out. It is also very curly and rather dry ever since I had bellayage done.
Sam recommended that at some point I get a Keratin treatment done or an “Olaplex” done next time there as my hair was in need of a good repair session. She used Davines nounou shampoo and conditioner which left my hair feeling like it would never been in a tangle again!
By the end of the session my hair was so silky smooth and shiny and ended up lasting me a few days too, which is a bonus!
Rare Beauty is a very professionally run salon that offers many different treatments and Sam is a fantastic hairdresser! Sam is closely connected to the yacht industry; she has chopped, shaved and styled on yachts, so she’ll always be able to give you advice with your haircut! Overall a lovely experience which I wouldn’t hesitate to do again!
