Beat the flu season during flight

Holidays are coming up which means colder weather, and with colder weather also comes the common cold or yikes! The flu!

Between Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years everybody will be traveling more often— making it easier for those germs to get around quickly!

To save you from getting sick, we've got a few tips up our sleeve to keep runny noses off your sleeve....

1. Bring hand sanitizer or sanitizer wipes. You may see some people do this already on a flight- you know the mom's who are wiping down the tray tables and/or TVs for their kids before their kids touch anything. It's not a bad idea! Germs spread easily during flight especially since it's close quarters! You can purchase hand sanitizer wipes or small carry on bottles of Hand sanitizer to keep, well handy (& germ free) during your travels.

2. Always wash your hands: there's a reason sinks are in bathrooms. Can you believe tons of people DON'T wash their hands after they go?! UGH! Don't be one of those people. Make sure to constantly wash your hands- before, during, and even after your flight, and especially when eating!

3. Bring citrus snacks: fruits such as oranges, tangerines, and even bananas contain vitamin C which can help build your immune system up and prevent you from catching a cold. Plus, they are healthier than plane food anyway 😉

4. Avoid touching your face: your hands and fingers can quickly become covered in germs when touching tv screens, arm rests, and or tray tables during flight & you certainly don't want to touch your face if you don't have clean hands first. By not touching your face during flight, you can also prevent acne build up or oil. If your face is dry, try bringing rose water spray or facial mist to keep your skin hydrated and healthy.

It may be a well known fact that 1 in every 5 people often get sick from flying, but with the above tips you won't have to worry about being THAT person.
